This is some great downhome cooking. I had the chicken terryaki bowl and the coleslaw with sweet/spicy chili sauce. portions are very generous. really can't beat the quality of food on this truck. no wonder they were featured on food network. service was quick and courteous, no problem paying with CC either.

We checked Food Truck Friday for lunch yesterday. So many options, so little time! We had pulled pork sandwiches from Taste Rite food truck. They were excellent. The venue was well organized with plenty of seating in the middle of the food trucks. My only complaint is that it was obnoxiously loud. It was already loud with the generators from... More

So many delicious types of food to choose from, and a laid-back fun way to spend a Friday night. I'd love to go try some things I was too full to order! Worth a trip.

This is the home of Food Truck Friday, the trucks form a big square with community tables & chairs under a canopy complete with misters for the hot days. Food trucks are the going trend in all metro areas now and usually spread themselves out around the city, hence the wheels. But when gathered here altogether, the lines get long... More

It is so nice to get a variety all in once place. Since food trucks went gourmet it is a bit pricy for what you get but I am rarely disappointed with the flavor. They do tend to charge you for a full size portion and give you about 1/2 what you paid for. Nonetheless, I enjoy the JamBurrito truck... More

The space and number of food trucks were small but the option were great w/ good quality. The local radio station was there. Please note it gets crowned and sitting is limited.

every Friday at Central Market down town Phoenix at least a half a dozen trucks show up. We went when it was 106 outside, and tables were set up inside a mister tent , we had a great time. My sponse found 5-6 vegetarian options, and I enjoyed Tikka at "Spice it Up" ---This is a great casual enjoying food... More

Many restaurants near the state Capitol are lacking, so if you work downtown food truck Fridays are nice. The BBQ line is realllllly long and I don't think it's worth it. The Southern food and Polynesian food is better. There's a couple of food truck locations in the city, so check em all out.

If you want a great food truck experience then check this one out. At least a half dozen trucks in one location. Plenty of options, something for every one. The prices seem to be in that $8 range. We really enjoyed it. I tried catfish jambalaya at Jamburitos Cajun Grill. Is was awesome. The catfish was cooked to perfection. I... More

I've been going to Food Truck Friday off and on since I arrived in Phoenix 2 1/2 years ago. It's a short walk from my office but I've also brought out of town friends there as well. The variety of food is pretty impressive and the quality is very good. Even on the hottest days it's fairly busy and they... More

Description
Every Friday outside of the central market food trucks line up in the back parking lot. Usually 6 to 8 trucks of arious cuisine. There's covered seating, lots of free parking, and a musical group plays. Lots of variety, excellent food of various cuisine. This is not your dad's "Roach Coach". It's gourmet food in a fun setting for lunch. Hours seem to be ~ 11am to 2pm, though the trucks hang around longer if they don't run out of food. Check it out
