We arrived and saw the sign for wearing a mask. They gave us a plastic bag to put them in once seated, and were told menus were single use only. Service was good and all went well.....until......party of ten arrived,,,,seemed to be family of someone...who worked in kitchen. They removed their masks, then roamed the restaurant - went to bathroom - spoke with staff - all without mask. Manager was questioned why this was allowed, and tried to say he "couldn't enforce" this rule. He then seemed to rethink this, then told them to wear masks. The group seemed to know who complained, and subtly harrassed us about this (walking back and forth with no mask). Other patrons arrived without masks, and were not told anything. We finished our meal and left.
My point - follow the rules or don't be open. My friend is 78, I am 59. So, we are both higher risk, We picked Switch because they claimed to be following the rules. I have been to other restaurants in the valley who do. I will not return until this crisis is over.
So - beware! If you have concerns - go elsewhere - or get Take Out.More

I appreciate you taking the time to tell us about your experience. I'm so sorry that you had this experience. And assure you that this won't happen again. This group was in no way related to anyone on our staff, but are regulars that tend...More
After skimming some of the top rated restaurants in Phoenix on my tripadvisor app, I talked my hubby and daughter into checking out the Switch. I was surprised that there was only 2 other tables occupied, but blew it off to it being 1:00. We...ordered from a very limited menu, and had to wait almost 25 minutes for our food to arrive. I had the wilted salad and cup of mushroom soup. Hubby had the Chopped salad and soup, and our daughter tried the cowboy burger. The soup came out pureed. Both of us couldn't get past the grainy, pasty texture. I asked for crackers hoping to give it some texture, but she said they don't serve crackers. Our daughter said her burger was overcooked and in need of some more sauce. We are not sure how this restaurant got such high ratings. Maybe the dinner menu is better? As I looked around the place I couldn't help but feel it was in severe need of a facelift. Everything looked so old and tired. Doubt we will ever return.More
Service was personable and professional. Great relaxed atmosphere. I ordered the grilled burrito with mimosa's! My cousin ordered the breakfast burger and it was HUGE. Sorry, didnt get a picture of that! Overall, Delish!!!
We stopped at Switch for dinner and returned again for more. The menu is sort of southern inspired with a modern twist. The staff is friendly and the place has a young vibe but isn’t off putting for older guests.
I enjoyed a grilled chicken pita with a sweet dragon sauce. It was too big to try and eat as a sandwich so I had to eat half of filling then pick up the rest. Delicious!! I had dragon sauce on the side and really...did not need it. The salad with grilled chicken was fine on its own. The curly fries were also a hit - thick wedges with a great seasoning.
We will definitely return.More
Within easy walking distance of hotels. Brunch menu, as well as lunch menu, offered many options. Server was very helpful for pointing out specialties and favorites. My associate had the meatloaf and was not disappointed- large portions and tasty. I had the breakfast burrito and...it too was amazing. Great value for the prices paid.More
We were there in October when it was pleasant for sitting on the outdoor patio for dinner. The night we went it wasn't crowded as we were one of the last customers served before closing. All the food was good - we will go back.
