Payson Airport offers a cafe that looks over the runway, where you can eat and watch planes landing and taking off. This is a little airport, so the planes are privately own, no big planes. The food is good for a little cafe. The service is excellent. The deco is a little dated. The view of the Mogollon Rim is... More

Delicious breakfast of eggs, hashed browns, toast, and even biscuits and gravy in a fun, peaceful setting right at the small airport that serves Payson, Arizona. From where we sat, we could watch the small planes land and take off! Our waitress gave excellent service!

Visited twice for breakfast while staying outside Payson. Old fashion ham and eggs one day and a ham and cheese omelet the next. Both were excellent and served with hash browns/breakfast potatoes and toast. Delicious. Coffee was fine. Grandson loves their pancakes and sausage and had same both days. Service excellent. Ambiance is excellent as venue is located directly on... More

Granted it was Easter Sunday. The service is still as good. But something has happen to the food.I love home fried potatoes crispy, not burnt. My eggs over medium were over hard with crispy edges. I am happy that my friends that flew in just to do breakfast, did not get the burnt I did since I raved about this place

Breakfast was cold . Pie: Coconut cream was a yellow, thick, tasteless paste, with coconut inside it . The topping had an offensive nasty chemical taste about it . The crust told me the pie was old as it was soggy . Very unpleasant. The apple pie was filled with gelatin and uncooked apples. Again the crust was soggy . The... More

Upon arrival got seated right away. Lucky to run into friends who joined us at the table. Each one of us had a different meal and all of us ate heartily. Corn beef hash with eggs, oatmeal, french toast with bacon and eggs, fruit orange juice, coffee. Nothing left when we were done. Needless to say we all enjoyed our meals and company not... More

Home of the million dollar view of both the airport and the Mogollon Rim. Watch the Sky King motorglider practice takeoffs and landings! Food is so good the locals pack this restaurant. Great home-made pies too.

Me and my husband went here twice on our honeymoon because it was so good! It was right next to he airport and you can watch the little planes and helicopters come and go! The food and service was great and we can not wait to come back next time we are in Payson. :)

Ok this is a very basic cafe but when we read that it overlooked the airport runway we decided to drive up and check it out. The place was cute and the food remarkably good. The views were the best part and I don't mean to down play the food at all. It was Friday and we both had the... More

After a bit of a hike we were just looking for a place to grab a lunch before heading back into Phoenix. After reading the glowing reviews and checking out the menu, I am glad to say that I settled on the Chicken Fried Steak and the Potato Soup. I do love chicken fried steak but, like Craig, fear that... More
