Waitress service was lacking in service and friendliness. Chips and salsa, and iced tea are not availble on menu. Food is pretty good though.. Ill go back, just wont expect too much,. Note Not a date place, lacking ambiance.

We always have breakfast here at least once when we are visiting our family who live here. They have remodelled since we were here last. It looks good! The chorizo and eggs are great. The flour tortillas are great too. And the service is excellent!
I recently ordered food to go. The food we received was very good, cheese enchiladas were very good, chicken tacos Dorados were very good, chimichangas were also very good, chilaquiles with chicken were also very good. The one thing that is for sure they serve...More
We always enjoy eating at this restaurant when in Nogales, and also enjoy the take-out options! The soup of the day varies--always good--but especially the albondigas soup on Mondays is great! The daily special (Comida Corrida) is always good--we enjoyed the tacos with rice, beans,...More
We take most of our Nogales visiting international visitors to El Zarape for lunch for a true Mexican experience. The food is good, service is fast and parking is adequate.
Great menu full of mexican favorites, generous portions, excellent service. Truly a local secret. The menudo is the best around, but a little stingy on the tripe.
just driving by saw a lot of cars... big mistake, food just passable no chips to go with the below average salsa, no picodegallo and no guacamole ! meat in fajitas was bland but tender beans were good......no return visit to be sure. service very...More

Six of us had the pleasure of dining in this establishment. We opted for Italian cuisine and we were not disappointed in the food. It was delizioso. We are diffently coming back.
It's hard to find that authentic Mexican zing in the US, somehow the ingredients just don't cut it, but at El Zarape you will feel that you are eating your "abuelita's" rice and beans. The lunch specials are an exceptional value and the prices are...More
