My wife and I were delighted with the whole dining experience at Domingo Restaurante!! The food was fantastic, the wine wonderful, the ambiance amazing and the Chef/Owner (Grandson of Domingo) and his girlfriend were extraordinary!!

TripAdvisor lead us here. And it was STUNNING! Our waitress was attentive and fast. Even she did everything! Taking the orders. Serving food and drinks. Clearing the tables and processing payments. All in a very relaxing mood. She is absolutely amazing. Knowledgeable about the wine...and explaining the menu made our choice easy. Risotto verde and deer meat with mushrooms were outstanding. Very very hard to beat!! The restaurant is so cozy and small-ish. You feel like home. As far as we can tell ....this is number 1 ⭐️ in San Martin des los Andes.More

Tucked away on a quiet side street we found the most delightful restaurant. We absolutely loved the warm and inviting atmosphere. The food and the wine were outstanding as was the service. Our server was friendly and very helpful and was good to explain what...all the dishes were. As our Spanish is limited she was very patient and ensured we knew what everything was! We had such a lovely evening. Thank you!More

Look no further! This restaurant is what you are looking for. I took my partner here for her birthday and it was spectacular. The atmosphere, dinning and experience were the best I have experienced both within Argentina and in sadly the UK. The Chef has...a personal touch and youthful passion that translates into his food at every turn. As a vegetarian I was sceptical (this is Argentina) but the effort and skill involved in each dish blew me away. A must visit and most likely the No.1 place to eat in San Martin.More

A wonderful find on the side streets of San Martin! Chef Thomas has a fabulous gift for creating amazing dishes with incredible flavors. His grandfather's 100 year old home has been turned into a warm and inviting restaurant. They have a great wine list and...so much more. A must visit for foodies! Skip the touristy restaurants downtown, you won't be disappointed. Note, cash only.More

The two waiting staff were friendly and efficient. The menu was short and the food of decent quality. The steak was tough but the pasta with wild muchrooms, for instance, was tasty. The wine list is quite short but there were some good wines in...it.More

We ate there twice during our stay in San Martin - something we usually avoid to try to check out other places. There was no question, we would go as many times as we could, this restaurant is fantastic. Great food, service, and well worth...the price. Some of the best steak we have had in Argentina.More

The quaint family home converted into a restaurant provided us a stunning meal. The hand written menu & explanation (in English) was the beginning of a unique evening. The owner and chef really cares about providing a menu with only fresh, locally sourced ingredients -...and all 3 courses were of outstanding quality. Easily the most interesting menu options we have seen in this region of Argentina and all executed with passion and warm family service. 100% a must try! We booked a table via Facebook messenger which was confirmed, so easy to get a spot if you’re travelling through. Prices for the meals and wines very fair.More

Excellent Patagonian and Argentinian kitchen in a traditional rustic and cosy environment, just three blocks off Plaza San Martin. We particularly enjoyed our main dish, a big piece of meat (“ojo de bife”), accompanied by oven potatoes with pesto. If you choose the same dish,...please don’t order it well-done (that would be such a waste…), but follow the advice of the chef and have it medium-rare! Domingo clearly uses excellent quality ingredients. The menu is short and local (no need to specify that this is a good thing, since it is a sign that everything is fresh). Service was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is run by a young team who really cares about its guests; the chef came to meet us when we were leaving to get feedback and even shared a recipe with us. We recommend! Book your table, since the place is very small.More
