My husband and I visited this restaurant on a weekend with our daughter and her husband and two grandchildren. We felt uncomfortable at this restaurant with young children. The waiters were friendly enough, but it is a sort of dark environment and most of the servers had multiple piercings and tattoos. Most of the patrons were drinking and it was... More

This one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. It is very popular; it used to be hard to get a table without a long wait, but since they expanded (twice), there is never too much of a wait. The have a friendly staff, consistently great, fresh food, and a cozy atmosphere.

Went to restaurant with daughter, son in law. Wife and three grandkids Pasties a little over done. Atmosphere not really what we would term family friendly.

I've been to this place many times in the past. It has been a while and i will never go back. I grew up in Northern Michigan where pasty shops are commonplace. So finding a place in Arizona that had good pasties was a big deal. Well, that is in the past. It used to be that if you went... More

I have been to all of their restaurants and I love them but the one on University is my favorite even though I am an older guy. I love the selection of beer but mainly I go for the huge variety of pasties. Whether you want vegetarian or meat laden, they have it all. My 95 year-old mother-in-law loves the... More

Ok, a step beyond a hot pocket! They make these very tasty stuffed with different things rolled up pastry items. Very good! I'd give them five stars but the Tempe location was a dark place, meaning not lit up too well inside, unless you like that kind of atmosphere. And the iced tea, do not get it!!! 😝

The food is amazing. Closest thing I've found to my grandmum's cooking. The menu has expanded quite a bit, over the past few years but my favourite will always be the shepherd's pie pasty.

While visiting Phoenix, we wanted to see if this establishment made as good a pasty as you find in the UP of Michigan. Looking at the menu I saw the "traditional pasty" listed first, then came over a dozen pasties I have never seen before. Our waitress quickly informed us that the "Pilgrim pasty" they were out of. Pasties here... More

This is one of my daughter's favorite restaurants and we generally visit at least once when I go to see her in Arizona. In the past I have tried "The Pilgrim" (Turkey, sweet potatoes, onions and stuffing) because Turkey and Dressing is one of my all-time favorite meals. Maybe it was the anticipation based on the build-up my daughter gave... More
