Very simple place with just a few table but the homemade pasta/gnocchi/ravioli are worth it! They serve you huge portion for an acceptable price (gnocchi with pesto and a big bottle of water abt 100peso arg.). They also make food to take away. My last word would be if you are in need of Italian food this place is made... More

Puerto de Iguazu is a small town with few restaurant options, most of which charge quite a lot. La mamma pasta and salsas in on the main road and offers a place to eat a good meal for a reasonable price. The pasta is freshly made on site and you can watch them making it through the back. The service... More

We came here 2 nights in a row. The staff was so kind and the pasta is to die for. Random spot but you must eat here.

It's not a very nice place, Puerto de Iguazu. But the people are quite open and friendly, especially the Guarani Indigenes selling stuff in the streets. And food is great, e.g. in La Mamma, a little restaurant that is not looking attractive at first sight - but at second sight. There, it's not steak, it's pasta: homemade - you can... More

visited here both nights in puerto iguazu. with limited options that just didn't seem worth a visit we came back to La Mamma Pastas. Nothing fancy, but the food speaks for itself. Service is quick and friendly. Pastas are amazingly fresh and delicious. Highly recommend. Serving sizes are quite big so come with an empty stomach.

They make the pasta onsite, and they serve it up in huge portions. This is nothing fancy - a few tables inside and a few out on the sidewalk, but the pasta is great and they are very friendly. Highly recommend! Prices are a bit high but portions are huge.

Simple, delicious, fresh, generous. If the sauce you want is not on the menu just ask! And they made it for us. We hope to be able to go back tomorrow before we leave. Best pasta on the entire American continent without any doubt!

Let's keep things simple - Iguazu isn't known for food. The only specialty is local riverfish (surubi) so if you want to try that then go elsewhere (probably Aqvi). However if you want a great meal, the best value you'll find probably anywhere in Argentina and fantastic pasta, then this is the place. Particularly given the lack of choice in... More

The pasta is too die for. It's made fresh everyday and they have a selection of sauces to choose from. We've eaten here both nights in Iguazu. Portions are large and they give you bread, so we ordered a salad and a bowl of pasta on night two. It's very reasonably priced and the best meal you'll find in town!
