Fernando is an excellent chef - the food was unpretentiously delicious. We spent more time with Gladys as Fernando prepared the food, and she was delightful. She serenaded us and provided us with information about the culture of Mendoza. We would definitely recommend Lo de...More

We weren't overwhelmed by this place but it was a good experience and for anyone thinking of going to a 'closed' restaurant, then go for it. Basically you get a lovely chatty host and better than average food than you'd cook yourself. You pay for...More

The appetizers were good but it was all downhill after that. The pasta course was pure mush and the main course of steak and frozen vegetables was totally unremarkable. We were hoping for an authentic argentine home cooked meal and this was not it. Gladys...More

"Lo de Fer" is a truly authentic familiar restaurant attended by its owners. Here you will enjoy a friendly atmosphere, with great food and service. We offer typical homemade Argentinian and eclectic food. We open only at night and making a reservation is highly recommended. Our menu changes on a weekly basis and consists of a 5 course meal (appetizers, starters, mains and desserts, coffee and tea included.) Beverages are not included. We offer a unique experience and we are looking forward to seeing you soon! "
