Great when flights and awesome atmosphere. Loved the soundtrack and the candlelit bar. Nico was a fantastic waiter. We had a great time! Definitely make this a stop when in BsAs!

Great bar with very friendly staff who seem to enjoy working there. Prices are reasonable and the cocktails do the job.

Excellent choice of wines, friendly staff and very decent and not intrusive music from the DJ. Lovely ambience capped by a friendly, if quirky, sommelier! .

My bf found this place and got crazy excited to eat there. It looks very nice but the service isn't good. The hostess didn't look happy at all. After a few minutes checking out the menu, I realised my spanish wasn't good enough and asked if they had it in english. Answer was "yes", and the sommelier was very happy... More

We came here for dinner on the recommendation of members here. The place was hard to find, up the stairs, but very "cool" with 70s music playing. We ordered cocktails (mojito and gata de ora) and they were as good as described. Food was well prepared; my squash gnocchi was excellent. Kind of a trendy place, so get there early... More

We decided to come here as wanted a good meal and a few drinks. This place did not disappoint. The service was impeccable. The décor was very trendy. The music was great. The food was delicious. We strongly recommend the pork and vegetable spring rolls - out of this world. It was pricey, but you definitely get what you pay... More

Staying in Retiro

Neighbourhood Profile
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
