Old and beatifully decorated cafe which exists from 1884. The whole space is devided for restaurant and cafeteria. We visited only last one. Do not order much: size of desserts are too big, in my opinion. I'd prefer having twice less, at least. Suprisingly, the...More

Beautiful building, good coffee and fun presentation. My kids loved the platters and desserts. It was worth a long drive! My kids say"perfect for 5 year olds".

- Amazing place to visit in Buenos Aires. - Fantastic architecture of old Buenos Aires. - Very traditional place to, at least, take some tea. - For those that know is similar to Confeitaria Colombo, downtown Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Very nice historical environment. Very good "medialunas". The "merienda" is spectacular, very good quality and quantità. Definitely will come back.

Loved the old-fashioned feel, stained glass windows, and entire back to the 30s feel. Tea and cakes are also traditional Argentine, filled with dulce de leche cakes. Nothing gluten-free. Nothing light. But the atmosphere and genuine 30s feel makes up for it.

With an antique atmosphere, the place is beautiful. The service was good, but the food was nothing special. Just fine. I would not come back.

No need to book. Just show up, choose an empty table and one of the white-coated waiters will come around with a menu.
