It was one of my favorite places for almost a decade. I was there with friends (party of 4) I ordered calf Milanesa (breaded fried steak) with fries one of the most basic dishes in Argentina found even in the most basic restaurant and some cafes. (like ordering hamburger with fries in USA) Almost 30 minutes after the waiter took... More

Having read previous reviews I was a little wary coming here, however my concerns were put to rest by a very friendly team, who, even though there was a language barrier, went out of their way to help. The food (American Ribs) were excellent. Well presented, BBQ sauce and well-cooked French fries. Compared to the level of pretentious alternate restaurants... More

The waiter was really nice, the empanadas of caprese and carne suave are very good, would definitely come back. The neighbourhood is beautiful, and the atmosphere is quite good.

We found this little restaurant just a short walk from the Madero Hotel. We noticed a lady tucking into a large steak with rice and by resorting to pointing managed to convey what we wanted to a pleasant young lady waitress who spoke a few words of English. The menu, although fairly extensive, was not in English and we only... More

When we arrived at 1.30pm the terrace was very dirty, serviettes on the floor, tables with rest of food and birds eating on top of them. Nobody welcomed U.S. and we had to go in and sit by ourselves. We ordered a bruschetta (average), a caprese salad (bad!) and Chicken skewers (chicken super dry!). Not worth going there again...

Nice location, friendly service with a welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious. The crowd unpretentious. The bill seemed to be of reasonable value and we both would go back.

Great location withing walking distance of most residences in Puerto Madero. This is a nice relaxed place where the chopp is wonderfully cold and the picadas are varied. Our family enjoys coming for the many varieties of pizza, pasta and salads. The staff is always courteous and helpful. A word to the wise, the canzone easily feeds 2 to 3... More

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighbourhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighbourhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolise this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
