I'm not sure which I liked better: the empanadas or the customer service. The staff could clearly tell I was a gringo (despite my attempt at speaking Spanish), and the cashier was kind enough to tell me how to spot fake money. (He somehow correctly...ascertained that I was new to Buenos Aires). The other guys working there were friendly as well.
Then I had the empanadas (verdura/vegetarian -- and my friend had jamon y queso/ham and cheese), and they were great. No complaints at all. Also well-priced at $27 Argetinian pesos each (about $1.50 USD per). The pizzas, too, looked incredible.
I highly recommend this place both for the friendly staff and for the tasty food.More
This is an amazing place, very traditional from Barracas. Full of all sorts of guests: from families with small kids to groups of male friends having pizza and beers after a match. The waiters are very busy as the customers are many, but they always...keep the humour and politeness.
Very good value for the money, the pizza is excellent and the price is very reasonable.
When the restaurant is full, in the late evening, it becomes very noisy. So if you prefer a quieter environment, go there early and leave as the merry groups arrive.More
