If you are used to service in the US, please be open minded and be ready for something different. The staff is friendly, the pizza is authentic Italia- thin-crust, and freshly made Highly recommendable. The booze is average, do not expect good tequila, mezcal or anything over the top, just the fashionable argentine drinks and a little bit more, but... More

We went for dinner during the week and easily got a table. The pizzas are delicious and thinly crusted with fresh ingredients. However keep in mind the portions are enormous, the large pizza could easily have been shared by two. The live dj seemed redundant in the restaurant as the bar was empty, however it may have filled up after... More

Piola is hard to define. On the outside looks more like a bar and when you are inside, eclectic decor and live dj music may confuse you and believe that food may not be the strong side. Don't let that happen. It has a great variety of drinks and cocktails that you may try on the bar while waiting for... More

I love eating pizza at this place. Unlikely most pizza places in Buenos Aires, pizza here has a very slim dough and is cooked in a stone oven. The ingredients are really fresh and the combination between them are superb. I really recommend this for trying really good pizza quality. Try the lemonade and vodka drink. It's my favorite.

This is a trendy spot with a live dj serving up some great food. We only had pizza this time but there we beautiful and great selection that you won't get in most pizza places in Buenos Aires. The also had a great selection of drinks and bar area if that was all you we looking for. Probably a little... More

Piola has been one of my favorites pizzerias in town, in fact I always heard by foreigners that Buenos Aires has one of the best pizzas in the world. You have all different type of pizzas : slim, fat, hundreds of toping, in wood oven, extra large, etc, etc. I visited recently and it's stil has one of the best... More

This was a find. Yes, we had to wait, but that was no hardship as it was worth it. They do a split pizza for you - that is they'll do a large base and 50/50 the topping. It went down well with a very drinkable bottle of red wine. The waiters are friendly and it seems if you don't... More

Piola had been recommended by our locals friends because we were trying to find a real italian pizza because we ate so much beef. Thanks to them we found it. The rucula with parmesan was our selection and it worth the wait!!

The ambiance, including the people-watching, and the above average service are certainly notable, but the pizza didn't seem that much better than any other pizza joint in Buenos Aires. I like Napolitano, New York and Chicago-style pizzas, though, and the thin crust here went limp pretty fast. Some unusual toppings and combinations but the cheese wasn't bubbly -- it never... More
