2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 January 2016

A sure sign of a good restaurant is bread. Getting a basket of assorted pieces of stale and dead dry inedible bread was sign of a far from perfect evening (btw, it's not free - cobierto charge will be added to your bill). 5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 October 2014

This was the first restaurant I visited in Buenos Aires, it was highly recommended by a hotel I stayed at, and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent, the service was great and the venue had a really cozy atmosphere on a cold July evening.

I went for lunch and got the Matahambre, which means hunger killer. And it sure did! I got it "a la pizza", so it was like a meat pizza (instead of bread it was meat). Fantastic. It has a nice vibe. I liked sitting outside but they also have movies playing inside. Great restaurant to go to.

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
