Had walked last a few times and put on list to visit. Popular venue, was lot busier than other bars at similar times visited on previous evenings. Good choice of beers and food. Looks like they have live music on some nights.

Monday 1:54am I had the worst customer service by Gustavo a rude unprofessional teenager with a "title" as bar manager.People in front of me not only ordered pitchers of beer and drinks, but he refuse to serve me telling me that the bar was closing at 2am when the website said 3am.I own a business in beautiful San Diego,CA,I know the... I've visited the bar in Palermo on a number of occasions but this visit will be my last. The staff were too busy trying to act cool to serve me. I asked for 3 stellas and had to ask 3 times as they couldnt understand me (stella in stella no matter how you pronounce it). My wife asked the doorman... More

This bar has an Irish name but it knows nothing about Irish hospitality. The service was horrendous. When I arrived I noticed the barman many minutes before he noticed me. He came towards me reluctantly and gave me the smile free nod which I believe is the 'pre customer service days' for 'what do you want'? He never smiled. I... More

This bar was a happening spot in the Reteiro neighbourhood we had to wait almost 20 minutes for a table but it was fun just watching all the people coming and going. When we finally got a table, service was a bit slow. When the waitress finally arrived we ordered food with our drinks not wanting to chance another long... More

Great bar and great drinks. Awesome people and employees. Very crowded, so if you want a table it is better to get there early...

The only thing Irish about this bar is the name. There is nothing Irish about it. What Irish bar do you know advertises Scottish Famous Grouse? No offended to Famous Grouse fans - but it's supposed to be an Irish bar. No irish staff, no English or irish speakers. The bar though is nice, very popular with locals, nice and... More

Although BsAs is known for wine it is quickly coming under the spell of craft beer. A young crowd with good music playing and a GREAT beer selection. I had a delish IPA and some small eats and was very happy!

Great location, this bar is very nice! A huge variety of classic drinks and more! Option for those who preffer non-alcoholic srinks too! Lemonades, juices and sodas! Beer, vodka, whisky and special dfinks for those on for some more fun! It offers snacks and also some dishes to have dinner! The place is nixely decorared; you might choose a table... More

Staying in Retiro

Neighbourhood Profile
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
