In the Sea of Meat that is Argentinian food Granix is one of the few vegetable oases, unfortunately it's just a run of the mill one. We went there for lunch while touring through downtown Buenos Aires, and it was busy but now crowded. It's a buffet of foods that are largely redundant (multiple bars u'd the same dish) and... More
There are only few restaurants available in BA, who serves only Vegetarian food, Granix is one of them. It's good option for lunch as they have buffet option with variety of the foods.
They have different menu system, with various options, like Pizza, Pasta, Soya patties, Rice, sprouts, etc. Food quality is good compare to the rates. Only issue with this restaurant is difficult to find English speaking staff.
This is a great spot for a vegetarian lunch in Buenos Aires. The salad bar has the best vegetables I have found in this city, always fresh, always crisp. They have recently changed their format and they have gone from an all you can eat buffet to an ARS 80 menu that includes a vegetarian protein with a vegetarian side... More
A bit hard to find (go inside Florida 165 and look for the stairs on your right, it is on the first floor) but a nice escape from all the meat. The buffet is completely vegetarian, but with lots of cheese, so if you don't eat cheese choice is a bit more limited. Price has gone up the last year... More
This place runs in two parts: a take-away section and an eat-in, all-you-can-eat buffet. We went for the buffet - there was a good range of choices - chickpeas in a tomato sauce, roquefort pizzas, carrot souffle, soy stew, ricotta tart - and a fresh salad bar with good crisp veggies. Juices and desserts were included in the price. All... More
The best thing about Granix is that you get a huge variety of vegetarian ( and vegan) food from many different cuisines - a welcome change after days of eating Argentinian/Italian, the usual option for vegetarians, which is tasty but a bit monotonous. At least 12 starters, an excellent salad bar, about 10 mains, and about 10 desserts - drinks also... More
Three of us ate lunch at Granix during December, 2012. Although you can purchase takeout by weight, we did the all-you-can-eat buffet (tenedor libre). The food was healthy, tasty, and with plenty of variety. There were more than a dozen appetizers, another dozen main dishes, an amazing salad bar, a half dozen different deserts, and several juice options. We paid... More
Went for a sit in lunch here and it haf ask the atmosphere one might expect from a mall-based buffet. Good value as you can stock up all you can eat. 57 pesos when we went. Not the tastiest veggie food, but lots of it!
