This would be a great date place. Very genuine servers and excellent food. Wine pairings were very thoughtful and portions perfectly sized. Very accommodating to food allergies as well. Definitely recommended. Re previous review about decor : indeed it is minimalist but very tasteful.

Have been to this gem in the edge of Hollywood twice in the past 4 months. Each time I was very impressed by the quality and inventiveness of the beautifully executed courses. I am from Kyoto and I call this Kaiseki a la Argentina. I cannot believe someone is complaining about its decor. It is in a traditional porteño commercial... More

We were passing by this restaurant and the unusual tranquility caught my attention. Degustation type of 7 courses. Portions were small but exquisite in flavor. The waiter that presented the food was not clear and didn't explain enough. The deco of the restaurant didn't justify the cost of the dinner: 750 per person. The menu book was all ripped and... Searching for a last-minute place to eat near our apartment, we stumbled across this place on TripAdvisor and stopped in for an early dinner. We didn't realize that Paraje only offered a tasting menu until we sat down -- but what a treat it turned out to be. We had seven courses in all, including a small bread coarse at... More

Last year, my husband took me there for my birthday and we did the 8 course surprise menu with wine pairing. It was a dream!!!! The portions are small which is good so you make sure you can try everything. Very delicious and a good mix of creative-Argentine-cosmopolitan. Loved it. We had a seat at the window and the service... More

We visited this restaurant in a group of two couples. I expected it to conceptually fall into a wannabe Michelin with adequate food and a surprise or two. Well the surprise was on me. Every dish came accompanied by a judiciously chosen argentine white wine. Each was better than the one before. Therein lies the conundrum, that they experiment with... More

Paraje Arevalo bears some of the hallmarks of a puerta cerrada, in that guests cannot simply walk in off the street and the small number of tables could indeed fit in a private home. This level of intimacy extends to the warm yet professional service in the restaurant, and made the 4 of us feel very much at ease as... More

My wife and I went to Paraje Arevalo on October 2015, after reading how good the tasting menu was. The place is very nice, elegant and simple. You have the option of having an 8-course tasting menu and a 10-course menu; we had one of each and shared the different dishes. Overall, out of the 10 dishes I had, only... More

It was a total surprise, even though I read reviews on Tripadvisor and other sites before our visit. We had the 10-course tasting meny with complimentary wines. The food is really innovative and excellent (we especially liked the lamb from Patagonien) and the selection of wines was excellent. Even though we like wine we are not knowledgeable in wine, therefore... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
