We walked past this place as there is minimal signage and virtually no upkeep outside. My wife was not convinced to go inside but as expected from previous reviews, simple and good affordable food. No frills especially decor. This is an old sports club.Lots of locals. A breath of fresh air having authentic in the middle of an otherwise expensive yuppy... More

I originally went to Club Eros in hopes of having a traditional asado including steak, chorizo, & morcilla. Upon my arrival I was so pleasantly surprised by the authentic ambiance & Buenos Aires natives! Nothing touristic about this place, refreshingly! As it happened they had steak but none of the others that I was looking for originally. Of little matter.... More

This is by far the best restaurant in Palermo. I liked it a lot. Very juicy steak. Awesome! Thank you Pamela.

We visited this place after seeing it listed on Pick Up The Fork and loved it. It's not fancy but the steak is good, the portion sizes are large, the beer is cheap and it has heaps of character. Good for a couple, friends or families.

Went there with a few friends, had a little language barrier but was able to get past that with the help of a phrase book and the internet. Ordered mixta salad, fries, the half steak and a half bottle of wine all came out to be roughly $15 USD. Wonderful service and a great hole in the wall to experience... More

Well worth the visit - we had two steaks (1/2 bife de chorizo), fries and a salad for 260 pesos - such simple but incredibly tasty and well cooked food for cheap, perfect for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is inside sports club rooms and is hard to spot, you wouldn't know it's there if you weren't looking for it.... More

Agree with what's been said before - an amazing meal for the price, and you truly feel like a local. It's a no-nonsense, affordable parrilla experience and one of our favorite dinners in Buenos Aires. We walked in past a YMCA-type gym with an intense basketball game, grabbed a seat in the harshly lit dining room, and were given a... More

100% Agree with the previous reviews - if you expect great service and fine dining this place is not for you. In terms of food; great value for money and would highly recommend for travellers on a budget.

I have been trying to go to this place for 6 years and I keep forgetting. It is a 75 year old restaurant attached to a very old soccer club in the middle of Palermo Soho which is a very trendy upscale neighborhood with dozens upon dozens of very hot bars, restaurants and cafes and cobblestone streets. This is a... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
