Eat here when you are hungry as the portions are extremely generous. This is a friendly place next to the water and if you sit outside, it has a lovely outlook. There is plenty of choice for all tastes on the menu.

We only had empanadas & a tostada but they were good & service was efficient. It was also a bit quieter here, being further away from the sights. Bit pricey unless you go for the daily special though.

It has a nice location in front of water. We , four people, ordered two coffees that were ok; One bottle of Coke, and one "mint ginger lemonade". The mint that they used was dry power that tasted like oregano. We didn't see anybody eating anything but took the risk of ordering the safest choice of all timer: tostados de... More

The place is very nice for informal dining. Facing the darsena and lovely view outdoors. There are many options to choose from, but the empanadas are particulary tasty. the staff is friendly , helpful and they speak a decent english.

We had lunch here during a walking tour of Buenos Aires. The food was acceptable, if a little pricey, but the view across the old dock area was spectacular. Service was attentive and friendly. We would go back for the view alone.

They offer "gourmet" food and pizza, both overpriced. The place is comfortable. The food selection is small. The service was ok, however the food arrived colder that the coke. Will not come back.

The food is blah, not much to write about. A tad overprices. Great location on the main harbor, worth having a couple of beers and watch the sunset.

In argentina, people eat later (after 21:30 it seems). I reached on my first day after a long walk around puerta madero around 20:30. There were not too many people but I was still offered a seat right in the corner in middle of kitchen service path and bar. May be they did not like single men occupying a central... More

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighbourhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighbourhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolise this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
