I always judge a good restaurant/bar on how they make my dry martini’s.. and I was impressed and the food was delicious. I followed the staff recommendations and ordered the juiciest beef empanada for starters followed by an amazing 400g beef steak and their signature...salad of palm fruit, avocado carrots and apple.. with grilled peppers on the side ..sipping a lovely Malbec from Mendoza.. I will return!!More

This place was recommended to us by the hotel we were staying at. We wanted an authentic Argentinian steak experience and this was marvelous. We were lucky enough to get a table outdoors and enjoyed the view and passing people. Our waiter spoke about as...much English as we did Spanish, but we managed and even had a few laughs along the way. Our waiter recommended a wonderful Malbec (at an unbelievably reasonable price) that we enjoyed so much we picked up two bottles at Duty Free on the way home. We started with the empanadas which were very tasty. We settled on two steaks (should have just ordered one!) and sides of Caprese salad and papa frita (should have just ordered one, not both!) The steaks were as big as the plate and cooked to perfection. For dessert, we split the Tiramisu. It was some of the best we've had anywhere, and we've traveled extensively through Europe. With all this food and wine, the total came to $75US.More

El Mirasol del Puerto was recommended as the "Go To" steak restaurant in BA, El Mirasol doesn't show up in any of the Internet "Top 10 Steak Houses" and that's good because I wouldn't call it a Tourist place. The canal location is excellent and...you can pop next door at the Hard Rock for live music after dinner. The food and service we experienced were great. This was our last dinner after a week in BA and we certainly left the best for last! We celebrated my wife's birthday and we were treated with flutes of Prosseco. BIG Steaks so come hungry or share!More

On our first night in Argentina, our 20 person tour group, enroute to our two week Antarctica expedition, had a fabulous meal at El Mirasol. The steaks where great, cooked exactly to order. The appetizer empanadas were fresh baked and divine. The dessert, a home...made flan, was exquisite. The service and the wine were great additions to the fabulous meal and dining experience.More

Lovely steak and delicious Malbec. Very good waiter who explained the menu - only order a side between two.

The quality of the steak was amazing and compared to subsequent steaks still did not disappoint. Expensive option but the waiter who served me was very helpful in selecting the right wine to go with the meal.

View is nice but it’s filled with tourists and the food is very average. I’ve had better steak at Outback’s.

Was disappointed overall with the experience at this restaurant. Next to no atmosphere, the waiter struggled and the food was average. The up side was that the steak did not disappoint- our first experience of steak in Argentina.

We had dinner here and enjoyed it so much we went back the next day. The steak was delicious - full of flavour and large portions. The waiter suggested that we share a portion of chips and it's a good job he did. It was...large and the chips were wonderful - you could actually taste the potato. Just like chips used to be! Service was attentive, the ice cream was excellent - very tart lemon was my favourite and the chocolate mousse was good too. If you like Malbec as we do, you'll be spoilt for choice. A great place to have dinner and watch the world go by.More

Good steaks, but side orders aren't included at all. Even after asking something like a HP-Steak-Sauce or similar wasn't offered. Instead of medium I received a well done steak. Seperat ordered salad wasn't nicer big nor good. And finally it was a more expensive than...expected.More

I saw some people who were dressed up, but we were dressed casually and did not feel out of place.
