Lovely lunch and service excellent.. All waiters were so polite. Our waiter advised us to share main course which was excellent advice. We had lovely home pasta with tomatoes and friends had mushroom risotto. Both meals delicious. A must In bueno aires.

Best italian restaurant in BA, the food was amazing but the service was out if this world, our server Carlos, made our lunches (2 times in 1 week, thats how good it is) the best food experience in our trip! The squid ink shrimp pasta...is AMAZINGGGG!! The vegetable raviolis with add on of meatballs (the meatballs are to die for you can add then to almost any dish) were delicious!! And the margarita pizza was incredible because they use sun-dried tomatoes instead of regular tomatoes which takes it to a whole different (better) level!! Ohhh and almost forgot to mention the volcan de dulce de leche! Just WOWMore

This famous Italian restaurant located in Puerto Madero offers some of the very best Italian dishes to be found in Buenos Aires. Fresh seafood and fish, homemade pastas, risottos, the magic of the brick oven, fresh local ingredients and great wine list. Service was friendly...and professional, will be back again, thanks!More

We visited Marcelo and loved the experience. The food & wine were great. Our waiter was excellent. We ordered broccoli as an appetizer and veal Marsala and penne arrabiata and the meal was fresh & phenomenal. Great prices for what you get for a meal.

I think it ranks among the top 10 Italian I’ve had ever, and that includes NY and Rome. The fried calamari were divine as was the main course. The portions are enough to share, we got an entry and 2 main dishes to share between...the four of us. The desserts on the other hand, were just ok, nothing I would order again (I had the “volcán de dulce de leche”). The service was very good and even though it’s pricey for Buenos Aires, I would totally go back!More

We have been to BsAs several times. This restaurant had a very good reputation and was also recommended by a taxi driver. We had calabrese and carpaccio, which were great. The bread was excellent, the best so far in Argentina. As main course we ordered...risotto with gamberini and asparagus. The risotto was not al dente and somewhat watery, not creamy as it should. The cheese was not parmesan, but povlone. My wife was served first and was under the circumstances ok. My portion was from the bottom of the pan and when I chewed it, it felt like sand between my teeth. My wife did not notion this, but when she took a second helping from the pan it was a lot of sand. Conclusion: The cook had not rinsed the rice thouroughly from sand, and since sand is heavy my wife’s first portion was ok. Naturally we should have complained at once, but since we had travelled from Europe, 13 hours, we were famished and mentioned it when we paid. The waiter offered us limoncello, which we declined. I would expect that a restaurant whis this reputation would serve a creamy and al dente risotto without sand. We will most probably try the restaurant again when we are not jetlagged. Another thing, which I have not noticed before in BsAs is that the waiter asked if we wanted to add tip on the bill. When we give tip we always give it as cash when we feel that the food is excellent.More

We were told this was some of the best Italian food in South America; all four of us were disappointed. It was definitely good enough, but we had better Italian in Valparaiso, and it didn’t hold a candle to anything from Italy or New York....There are definitely better meals in BAMore

Amazing quality food – excellent chef and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. They really know how to capture new customers. I am not a big fan of Italian food (I know … chocking) but this restaurant made me a fan … hard to...find good one like Marcelo’s.More
