Wonderful place to stop by and enjoy some artisanal chocolate and other special goodies. Ideal after a walking to the castle or by the Jewish neighbourhood. This is a place like no other else and you will be glad to know it and to enjoy...it. The owner, Laura, is sweet as her chocolates and you can order tailored requests in advance, for yourself, as gifts or if you wish to prepare special events. It is difficult not to try all the goodies in the shop.More

Tucked away on a side street in Castelo de Vide is this hidden gem. My wife and I enjoyed tea and of course a bit of chocolate. The owner is terrific and although she spoke English beautifully, was quite patient and helpful as I tried...to speak a bit of Portuguese. Artisan foods and crafts line the walls of the lovely seating area. Simply put, it is a wonderful place to enjoy a small meal or beverage.More

We found this place while enjoying time walking in Castelo da Vide. It didn't look like much from the outside, but once inside it was a beautiful and comfortable store with a few tables to relax and enjoy the merchandise. The chocolates were made by...the proprietor and were very delicious. To my surprise, she was also selling some excellent craft beer that had been brewed in nearby Marvao. The Porter paired very nicely with the chocolates we enjoyed.More

A small shop for hand made chocholate (toca: rebbit hole). They have a lot of sweets mostly made from chockolate. Do not miss the caramel cake.

Surprise, surprise! Great homemade chocolate and cakes etc. in a nice little chocolate- and tea- and coffee-cafe. Spend an hour there and you will be happy.

Hidden among the tiny streets of Castelo de Vide there s chocolate heaven. No, seriously , one of the best chocolates me and my friends ever tasted... and we come from Belgium. Great service as well, the owner is absolutely adorable and kind and all...she serves is prepared by herself! I definately recommend it.More

Lovely small craft made chocolates and ports. We stumbled into this small shop after touring the castelo and were intrigued by the lovely photos on the wall. Port was delicious and chocolates even better.

Definitely for the chocoholic! A little hard to find on the stepped streets of Castelo de Vide, but worth it. Look for the sign on the way down from, or up to, your visit to the castle. Excellent dark chocolate treats, some with interesting fillings.

I loved the chocolate cake, accompanied with a freshly squeezed orange juice made at the time, a lot of diversity in everything imaginable with chocolate. Affordable prices.
