I had the vegetarian salad wrap which was sumptuous and filling. A few glasses of wine were nice, to wash it down with. If you're after locally produced goods, they have an extensive choice inside, from wines to preserves and artisanal breads

Very pleasant Saturday lunch, live music pavement scene. Not pretentious at all! However the setting lends itself to a rather relaxed meal! What you see is what you get.

Band had another function so it is actually tonight.... More

We visited Juno Bistro in Main Road Paarl for a weekday lunch. This venue has had a refurbishment inside and offers plenty of space inside for meals during chillier days but you can still sit outside under their famous red umbrellas and watch the world go by. The menu is simple but offers plenty of choice and there are dishes... More

Wow, wow, wow. What a lovely way to spend a Friday afternoon. Firstly a BIG thank you to LUZY who is the most amazing person. She took my mom, who has just had a knee replacement and battles to walk under her wing. Helped her up and down the stairs and really made a fuss about her. The setting is... More

They changed their name to Tafel & Tap - same owner, managers and waiters. Opening hours are very different. No more early mornings in the week. From Tuesday to Saturday now open until 22h00. Let's see...

This is where you go to have wine and a cheese platter with friends at 5 o clock on a Friday afternoon. They do not stay open very late.

Any restaurant that takes your order when around 30% of the tables are full, and takes more than 30 minutes to serve an early lunch seriously needs to get their act together. This, in spite of inquiring repeatedly and promises made, our food NEVER appeared and when we requested our account for the coffee consumed, no appology or comment was... More
