In search of a great seafood stop along the Garden Route with visitors, I couldn't have chosen a more perfect spot . . . Casual, un-fussy set-up, fabulous fresher-than-fresh fish of all sorts and varieties, smiling, friendly service and a great BYO policy -- what...More

this is a place where seafood is not messed about and is prepared in two ways, pan fried and BBQ'd. The product is fresh and well cooked, the chips are amazing and it is generally good value for money. Maybe except the oysters which I...More

Not bad sea food, but not quite what the hype was all about. The fresh linefish was good but the calamari tentacles were exactly as they described, rather tough but also not very tasty. Service was good, but winter weather is also not conducive to...More

Just returned from dinner at freshline fisheries... WOW amazing food, friendly staff and a real chilled vibe! They don’t sell alcohol which did not bother us (you can take your own). The fish was delicious and clearly very fresh!!

Ordered the fish platter for one, to which I added a fish cake and coleslaw. A bit amazed that the coleslaw is not offered as a standard extra. However the fish was a bit dry, but the prawns were the tastiest ever. Calamari very tender...More

You need to look to find this gem, but do not let the rustic look fool you - ambience is great and the seafood is just unbelievable - they focus on the food, and the food alone, really do try the Prawn Curry or the...More

The most unique and affordable seafood restaurant in Knysna with one of the tastiest, fresh seafood menus in the Garden Route. You can choose exactly what style meal you want e.g. rice, salad or chips with your fish, prepared the way you like it: Grilled,Fried or Wes-Kus style. Not licensed so bring your own drinks (BYO) beer, wine etc. No Corkage :)
