Have been here many times - nothing changes - really good service - a reasonable turnover of diners with no long waiting times, followed by beautiful food. For lunch a soup and dessert at this place is as good as it gets. A don't miss...More

Man (and woman) does not live by bread alone! Thank you for noticing our wonderful food and beverage offerings. We are happy to hear that the waiting time was not too long (you are lucky or just nice:) and that our service followed through (not...More

Enjoyed their delicious breakfast. Although the place does get busy, their service is great. I would go to Thesen Island just for their breakfast.

Such a lovely environment we thought we would stop for a cold soft drink but the menu was too good to pass on. As my wife is a veggie we decided to share the roasted cauliflower salad and the flat bread with caramelised onions and...More

A great place for breakfast but gets very busy on Saturdays. We had to wait 20 minutes for a table. Take away also available and offers a wider range of than the eat-in menu.

If you are in Knysna go and eat here. They simply do the very best croissants and bread outside of Paris. It is very popular and sometimes you have to queue. Do it you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing menu with healthy but delicious options. I can recommend the bircher muesli with yoghurt & sweet Dhaka which is quite possibly the best breakfast I've ever eaten! It's worth waiting for the right table as more special to be outside. Service is okay; can...More

Great place for breakfast or brunch... Coffees and smoothies are spot on. Pastries all great. Servers are all friendly and fun. They go out of there way to help you and give great tips on what to do. A must when in the area.

We visited Thesen Island. It has a lot of estate agents as the expensive new and newish housing there by the canal especially appears to be in great demand. The cafe sells bread to these people and caters for them and visitors. A smart place...More
