I never usually review chain restaurants because they're pretty much the same and it's difficult to find something new or different to say...except that here we bumped into a new and much smaller size of coffee cup. I enjoy a Serious Cappuccino in Cape Town and I expected the same here but, oh dear, the size is much, much smaller... More

Not often a visitor to M&B but was pleasantly surprised with the variety of delicious food on the menu. The service by Jaco was perfect, the portions huge and it was super tasty. Would've preferred more banting options but I'm sure they'll see the light soon 😊

On our way through George we met family at the Mugg & Bean for lunch. It being a well-known franchise we were a little disappointed. The service was indifferent with waiters standing around and chatting so that I eventually had to ask a passing waiter to call the one that served us so that we could get our bill and... More

We always enjoy our visits to Mugg & Bean. They have a large variety of food options. My favourite is the Mugg & Bean On the Go for breakfast amd the Chicken mayonnaise sandwich with a garden salad for lunch! And I love the serious Cappuchino's (the largest cup available). Happy is an excellent waiter, always friendly and happy!

Worst service ever. Got a seat on the bench. Manager told me that a waiter will be with me soon. After 15min I started to look around with no waiter approaching me anyhow. Managers and waiters standing around. Not one even looing in my direction. Walked out without anyone batting an eye. Will not go back.

Every time I am in George for shopping I stop at Mugg & Bean at the GR Mall. The coffee is always great and so are the cakes. Two out of the three times the service was fantastic - quick, courteous and pleasant. On one ocassion I had to get up and call a waitress and then it took a... More

Mug & Bean is without a doubt the "go to" place for scrumptious muffins of substance. Together with Cuppacino this combination is guaranteed to get your day off to a winning start and will sustain you well into the day.

We are very disappointed with the M and B here in George. We have on a daily basis been to the one in Courtney Street as well as the one at the Mall to purchase GF muffins. On every occasion there have been none available. The waitress/cashier said we must pop in in the morning which we did, come in... More
