We were quite a large party and the staff coped very well with getting tasty food to us in good time. The venue is lovely and the setting is superb.

One of the nicest experiences is to sit outside the Jonkershuis restaurant, in the summer, with a parasol to keep the sun off if its a bit too hot and then to have a really nice lunch. We were a party of 6 - all...More

Long serving hours give lots of flexibility and opportunity to arrive without booking as we did. Fabulous outside stretch of tables with amazing, far reaching views. Sheltered and cool under the trees and umbrellas. Extensive menu which is often a bit worrying, often meaning prepared,...More

Booking handled professionally. friendly staff. Good food. Nicely presented and tasty. Coffee a bit slow in arriving.
This restaurant is excellent if you have young kids or grandkids because they can run around the vast gardens and lawns. Lovely outlook across Constantia and down towards Muizenberg and False Bay in the distance. Great place for a good day!
More than adequate food. We had the Venison and a Burger. Wine from the vineyard was excellent. Ambience OK for lunch but not dinner. Service pretty indifferent.
We sat in the restarant and had great service and a delicious meal. I had the Estate Tasting Plate, which turned out to be a great choice with little bowls of curries, rice and bobotie.
