Located in a lovely neighbourhood street the blue cafe spoils us with it's delicious food and drinks. My family and I go there often for a quick meal or something to drink and I can definitely recommend it. The blue cafe also has a little shop and their ice - cream is to die for. The service is very friendly... More

A great local breakfast spot in Tamboerskloof. Off the tourist map completely. Everything is delicious, especially the turkish toasted sandwiches.

Our B & B recommended The Blue Cafe and I'm glad they did. Just a few minutes walk with delicious food. I'm only sad there were no tables outside. I have food allergies and there were great options for me to choose from. Would go back!

Hidden away in a quiet residential street, this small neighbourhood favourite offers a pleasant break from the frenzy of Kloof Street. It serves light meals from breakfast to supper, specialising in excellent thin-crust pizzas. Decor is pleasantly funky and service is friendly and efficient.

Located in a quiet neighbourhood street in Tamboerskloof, just outside the City Centre of Cape Town ... with sidewalk tables and umbrellas, serving great quality coffee and fresh food ... salads, sandwiches and great breakfasts. With a super efficient team of staff, special mention to JT and Leroy for their never-ending big smiles, this place is a quiet escape from... More

We love returning to this little gem whenever we are in Cape Town. Relaxed personable service, fantastic quality food and great quiet location. This is always our first stop when we arrive in the city as it's peaceful and we know that we can relax (normally over a couple of bottles of wine) Well done guys!

Here you can find good options for breakfast, everything tasting like home made food. Not good for raining days.

We came here on our first day of holiday as recommended by our hotel and we can't recommend this place enough. Yummy fresh food and good service, what more could you ask from a neighbourhood cafe.

A classic cafe stop right in the heart of the Tamboerskloof neighbourhood. With the German school being fairly close by it enjoys a certain European atmosphere. Have visited several times over the past year and never been disappointed with the coffees, cakes and service. Have an Amsterdammetjie with your coffee! Haven't tried the meals, but have every confidence they will... More
