We visited this restaurant as we couldn't get onto another and glad we did! The service was excellent from beginning to end. My brother had crocodile and it actually delicious and so was my meal of baby chicken. It's quite small so I recommend to book.

The food at this restaurant is great. We were a party of 4 people and everyone enjoyed their meals. My boyfriend tasted crocodile for the first time and it was delicious. Waiters very attentive and friendly. A must if you visit Cape Town. It's a small restaurant so book if you can. Loved it

We ended up going to the first restaurant we came to as we were very tired after a long day of shark diving and we were definitely not disappointed! I explained that I was vegan and the waiter offered me a variety of dishes that were not on the menu. I got some kind of vegetable stew with beans and... More

Lovely authentic SA restaurant - Chris and staff were so friendly - great value - lovely food - steamed bread and Malva pudding amongst the highlights. Had my 60th birthday meal in there - will always remember it.

We walked past this restaurant on our way to do a walking tour, and out of all the cafés and restaurants we saw, we came back. It was SO worth it - lovely, interesting food, awesome music and attentive staff. Do it.

Eat here if you'd like to enjoy authentic South African food in a simple but very convivial and completely non-touristic restaurant. The staff are friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and happy to recommend dishes based on your tastes. The menu changes daily depending on what fresh ingredients are available. The food is outstanding and there is a full bar as well. It... More

Pleasant, quiet, nicely decorated, attentive service, and great food. The owner's story of how he got to South Africa and what inspires his cuisine is on a big chalk board for you to read. Great variety of dishes. I'd been wanting bobotie and it was excellent. The presentation of the food is not special, but the taste is fantastic. I'd... More

Just had dinner here food was great, service attentive and prices more than reasonable! Not a flashy restaurant but if you want true African food ( large portions) great flavours.... This is for you! Give it a shot only small but great location, two courses for two people about 30 rand....try that on Europe or Australia Food was brilliant!

We tasted a bobotie and some Boerewors there. So sad they did not have the 'Impala thing' that evening. The waiter was so welcoming
