Between the view, the atmosphere, decoration and food you have a near perfect experience. Would highlight the tacos, sweet breads, springbok and squids. It's a must visit when in Cape Town. Only areas for improvement are the desserts which were not up to par with...More

We had lunch at The Pot Luck Club recently. Wow-- the food and drinks were spectacular and the service attentive without being obsequious. This is a restaurant that seeks to surprise, which is a high risk strategy as not all gambles need be successful. But...More

We went to this place for the lunch special which is a selection of a few of the courses on the menu for a very reasonable price. It was awesome! Loved the chickpea fries, the tataki and the tacos. We just had to order more...More

We were able to get in on short notice due to an apparent mixup at The Test Kitchen. Martinis we're good as was the champagne. Entrees/tapas were small. We didn't find a salad on the menu. All the dishes were pretty fatty/cooked in oil. Very...More

We would say the food combinations we were served at the Pot Luck Club are some of the best we have had in 17+ years of travelling the world. Staff were professional, friendly and enthusiastic and the wine list showcases some of the best of...More

The only thing I liked about this place was the location. I did not really enjoy their style of eating nor did I really care for the food. At $35.00 USD per person it was NOT worth it.

Creatively prepared and delicious tapas style food. Service was excellent. We sat at the bar which was fun but you can't go wrong with a table either. It takes about 20 minutes from downtown Cape Town assuming no rush hour traffic. A highlight of our...More

Hi. I'm going to Capetown this coming July. My family includes 4 kids aged 10 to 13. We love great food and a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Would this be "kid" friendly and fill the bill.

Hi there, I'd say your kids would far more enjoy the Biscuit Mill itself which is great on a saturday morning. For the money your going to pay and the age of your kids rather try The Grand near the water front, its situated... More
