Born circa 1988, before the opening of the V&A Waterfront, Panama Jacks has evolved from a boatyard servicing the Royal Cape Yacht Club to a quality Seafood Restaurant known all over the world. Originally situated in Table Bay Harbour, in the working half of the Cape Town docks, Panama Jacks is unique in its setting with all the hustle and bustle of a commercial port going about its daily business. Take off your jacket, loosen your tie and come see what the fuss is all about!

We were in Cape Town for the first time in five years and near the top of our list for a revisit was Panama Jacks. We were a little concerned about some of the reviews and yes the terminal building doesn't have the charm of...More

Panama Jacks is certainly not as well known as it should be given it's great harbor-side venue, good food and reasonable prices. You have to go to the Cape Town Cruise Terminal at Table Bay Harbor to find them and they're up on the second...More
Visited the new premises with the family for lunch, the food was good we had some platters. The service was good. Had no sea view as there were people Boarding some boat right in front of the restaurant. Prices are relevant. Highly recommendable.
Dont be fooled because this restaurant is at the Cape Town Cruise terminal. It is expensive, overated and staff not friendly. Not value for money at all. I would not visit them again. There are 100% better restaurants at the Waterfront.
