Serendipity is one of only a few fine dining restaurants in the Garden Route. Went there for dinner and everything was great. Just have to mention that springbok loin with the unbelievable best jus ever!

We were so excited to visit this restaurant after reading the incredible reviews, but we found it quite disappointing -- not to mention overpriced. The amuse bouche and bisque course were very good, but the main (a fish dish) was bland and uninspiring, with mushed peas accompanying it. Service was fine and it was overall a good meal, but not... From the minute we arrived we loved it. We are quite foodie people and this was one of our best meals in South Africa. They start by talking you through the menu and explain every ingredient. All the staff are very knowledgable and the service is amazing. A very enjoyable evening.

Out of all the fine dining experiences I've had, this was my favourite. Not only was the food and wine consistently stellar and unexpected, the service was probably the best I've ever encountered: it was so personal and welcoming. I have coeliac disease and Chef Liselle prepared special gluten-free courses - often two entirely different ones so I had a... More

If you visit Wilderness, you MUST at least once go to dinner here! The owners (a young couple) both ooze out their love for really good food and wine and it's really lovely and entertaining to experience. Rudolf will absolutely sell every one of the ingredients in all the dishes to you and will make sure that making a decision... More

One wouldn't expect to find a fine dining spot located in Wilderness, but this one is worth travelling for! Every course was well thought through with exquisite and subtle flavours. I loved how they infused local ingredients into classic dishes to add a different dimension that I haven't found anywhere else. Made me very proudly South African. The wine list... More

We had high expectations and were not disappointed. Picked up on time the driver promised us the best meal in Wilderness. He was right and understated. It's probably one of best in SA. Probably best value in the world The meal description was passionate, and rightly so. The aperitif was great ( white port and lemon). My wife does not... More

It is not cheap menu but the food is better than some of the one star restaurant in EUROPE which we have been to. Springbok meat is the best in this whole three week trip and wine list is very carefully selected. Last but not least, wonderful people.
