the place is huge, which is why it looks empty all the time even when there's others inside. food was okay and the guys working there are very friendly

Was up in Underberg for a Wedding. so early Saturday morning went to Grind for Breakfast. Wonderful service friendly staff. the coffee was out of this world. if anyone is in the area and wants a meal you must pop in to The Grind Café. the prices are very reasonable so value for money its awesome.
Nice choices on the menu, generous portions, friendly service. Will always stop there for a meal or the great coffee when passing through
Visited Drakensburg for the holiday and popped into Grind Cafe for late lunch , the atmosphere , the cleanliness , pricing , staff were all above average , with highly recommend anyone visiting the region to definitely visit the restaurant .
having spare time on a roadtrip, we popped in here for Coffee. It is a strange place, that almost does not know what it wants to be. It rents DVD's - has a lounge area, a seating area, big screen projector and a bar. That said - the coffee was good and no expensive, the service was "Self Service" from... More
just had two pizzas that cost R175 and I cannot tell you how bad they were, thin thin crust, crummy cheese, mean amount of topping and NO TOMATO BASE, who makes pizza without a tomatao base, sorry guys but we will not be returning to the Grind EVER AGAIN. 5 TINY PIECES OF STEAK ON A STEAK PIZZA, wow super... My apologies for taking so long to respond to your comments. On our way back from Sani Pass we decided to pop into The Grind! We were greated with warmth and overwhelming friendliness. He food was excellent and the service even better. A place worthwhile visiting. Faan
After you've popped in and out the cafe three times in one day for a cuppacino you should at least try their pizza, as convinced by the friendly staff. Wood oven, wafer-thin bases, fresh toppings (not skimpy at all) and great flavours. Definitely the best pizza in town and worth a visit! Mr. Phelelani was a saviour.
Have been here a number of times and they serve great pizza from their fire oven. The venue is large, but the food is always good and the service friendly. Always worth a visit
