Visited this restaurant after quite some time. Quality of food really gone down. Go elsewhere if possible

Adega's food never disappoints as well as their famous strawberry daiquiri . However, The restaurant itself could really do with a revamp. The covers on the booth seats are torn and always sticky. The horrible plastic over the table is burnt from the insect repellent and sticky.

A colleague and I are in Durban on business and instead of dining in the hotel, decided to try out Gateway mall and in particular Adega. The food was fabulous and the portion size is on the ginormous side. Super tasty. The view and open location was lovely particularly after spending a day in an office setting. Friendly staff. The... The restaurant serves up some sumptuous dishes but most containing loads of cream which overpowers the real taste of the dish. Many times I've felt very sick after eating at adega and I hardly ever finish my food. The portions sizes are rather average for the prices they charge aswell. I highly recommend going for seafood and chicken rather than... More

When we visited the restaurant it was. Wet busy and we were seated temporarily at a bunker as our table was not ready. While waiting we ordered all our meals and waited patiently for the food . We ordered a variety of tiger giants and pasta and fish. The food did take a while to prepare but understandable it was... More

5 for the prawns.... 1 and 2 for the service and organization. No cold water, no alchool...I can understand everything but the restaurant is a business and cannot be run in such way!

The service in this restaurant is terrible. Waiters seem clueless and undertrained. Tables are all dirty and sticky. Ordered the half chicken and my wife had the kingklip. My chicken was burnt to death and my wife's kingklip was so undercooked it was virtually raw. To their credit they did replace the kingklip with a more cooked one which was... More

Food well presented and very tasty. Excellent vibe . Aircon may need a service as it was quite hot inside but atleast u have an option of eating outsyd if u ok with high foot traffic volumes passing by. Service was excellent as well. Expect to pay R22 for a can of coke( dats a markup of 400percent) wich would... More

Ideal Restaurant for a Family where they serve delicious Indian cuisine . For starters we had Halloumi Cheese which was delicious. This was followed by big platter of a variety of food as steak, chicken prawns and rice. An added bonus is that the food is Halaal.
