All the dishes we had were full of flavours and in my case, mild, as i don't like spicy food. Stan our waiter was attentive and we so enjoyed... More

the meal I had there was very interesting, a mutton curry with rice and salad. there is a restaurant as well as a quick sit down area which is where I sat. the waiters are dressed in traditional black & white and are very eager to sit you down to a quick meal.

We asked a Durbanite Indian friend what is the best place to eat curries in Durban CBD and he recommended The Oriental Restaurant at the Worshop Mall. Well, we went there. And it was just a disappointment. The curry was not great. The Briyani was also forgettable. But the milk shake was horrible. Worst vanilla milk shake ever. People .... More

Orientals used to be one of the nicest places for tasty mutton bunnies, and breyani's. Over the years i have been there 3 times and all three times complained about the quality of the meat being used. Its quality you not feed to an animal. We have addressed this numerous times and the waitrons confirm that management is aware of... More

I have tried bunny dens all over Durban from hollywood to brittania to Goundens, none compare to the fresh and great taste of Oriental at the workshop, the restaurant area. A bit pricy but worth every cent.

Went to the workshop and went to The Oriental for lunch and had a bunny. Customers have a choice of sit down or take away with the latter being more affordable. There are benches to eat the take away. Clever idea and great affordable food. One knows a place is good when locals eat at a place and here is... More
