We recently enjoyed a simple Sunday brunch on a cold day. Empanjadas and the Pulled Pork Tacos were great. My husband had the Burger and beer special - winner at R 60 for both.

Good spot for cocktails but don’t make the mistake of ordering anything off the food menu. The food is really not great and it really does not taste like mexican food....stick to a liquid diet when visiting this spot.

Fun, thematically decorated Tequilaria with a generous selection of Mexican faves on the menu. Nachos portion is huge so makes a great sharing dish to complement individual taco orders. Busy, so best to make a reservation on weekends.More

Mexican Food Restaurant Tapas & Tequila Bar El Toro offers tapas and Latino cuisine that encourages the festive sharing of food to allow for a fun fiesta. It fuses old-school Mexican and Spanish classics with some modern twists to spice up the menu. El Toro is vibrant and fun. The décor is tastefully bold, with lots of colour and prints. If you are hungry, their paellas will take care of that but there is lots more on the menu. They cook with whole natural spices and lots of chillies so some dishes are pretty hot. If you are ever in doubt, have another tequila!
