This was my first visit to Koi after reading much about it. It's critical acclaim was proved during our visit. I would recommend getting lots of small plates and sharing so you have the opportunity to taste many of their delectable dishes.

We visited Koi for my Mother in law's birthday. Their modern twist on Thai and Asian cuisine is always refreshing but makes it difficult at times to make a choice. Hence why sharing is not a bad idea. Their dim sums and small plate dishes come highly recommended.

This is my second time to this Restaraunt. We had lunch previously and then a dinner for 6 last night. It was excellent. We arrived at 18:00 for an early dinner and the place was empty. It then filled totally in the neat 1.5 hours. We had no specific meal for any individual at the table but just ordered a... More

Koi never disappoints. Japanese, Asian and Sushi at its best! Great restaurant with quick, friendly and super-efficient service - from the order to the table is amazingly quick. The décor is nice and clean with good spacing between the tables making conversation easy. Ideal for either a short or long lunch for friends or business. Ideally located. The menu has... More

Koi Rosebank is still as good as ever. The sushi is always fresh, tasty and well presented. The service too is a of a high standard, with a venue that supports easy eating. If possible sit outside, as the vibe of open air is fabulous

I have often eaten at Koi, I enjoy their variety of food and their presentation is stunning. They have sushi as well and make their own pasta. They are very busy so one should book in advance. There are lovely place to pop into after your meal that are in the same centre. The service is very good and waiters are... More

I always enjoy my meals at Koi, i kind of stick to the usual things, new style sashimi, duck and sushi. They never disappoint. The dim sum is okay, but not i find it overrated. Overall the food is good, maybe slightly pricey, but certainly the duck and new style sashimi provide good value for the money you spend

Enjoyable evening with family at Koi Rosebank. Food is delicious, albeit very small portions. Salted green bean snack starter is great! Service a tad questionable and we incurred two incorrect orders. Had the ribs for mains, which was a superb meal, but not nearly enough for a male patron. Enjoyed!

Koi remains my favourite in Johannesburg for quality food with an Indonesian/Asian flavour. The is a lovely safe space to sit outside, and the interior is lovely and modern. The crispy calamari starter is always a winner, as are the Asian fries. The sashimi platter they prepared for me today was incredible! The service by Charlie was great.

From what i have heard about Koi I must say I went in with pretty high expectations for the sushi. I was NOT disappointed. We started off with some dim sum which was near perfect, really flavourful and good balance between the filling and the dumpling. In general the menu is expensive. The service was ok, our waiter looked like... More
