Okay if you are into the older sites to see and visit on Route 66. Food was okay, nothing outstanding. The prices were very high, substantially more than we expected. Staff was friendly. Interior has not been updated in a long, long time.

From the outside it doesn't look like much - the sign is burnt out so you barely make out the 'el rancho'. Inside, nice Family atmosphere… Lots of locals come here. Big portions and typical Mexican American fair. We saw them sing happy birthday at a table and the kid got to wear a large sombrero hat... fun! Nothing fancy…... More

My wife and I have been customers of this restaurant for many years and whenever we get a craving for hot sauce and chips this is where we go (they make their own). The waitstaff are very attentive and the food has always been piping hot from the kitchen. We love this place.

Was recommended for front desk person at our hotel. 1960's vintage restaurant and it looks it: water stained ceiling tiles, worn furniture, etc. Server friendly and food was good. Up to you to try it or not.

Recently stopped here on the way home. We had the special with 2 enchiladas, rice, beans and sopapillas. It was excellent. Waitress was friendly. The chips and salsa (little hot) were very good too. The parking is a bit weird and hard to navigate if not sure where it is but we managed. Would definitely recommend. If it wasn't so... More

I have stopped here a few times over the years. They offer good food at good prices. The staff was great. They were working really hard and they are not spring chickens. The fajitas were well prepared. Good flavorful beef with grilled onions and peppers. Sopapias were included.

Delicious salsa on the table as soon as you sit down. Enjoyed a burger smothered in red chile sauce and topped with cheese and onions Left feeling blissfully full. They also have a sweet little gift shop with collectible knick knacks. Worth a gander!

We had dinner here and it was very good. My husband had the roast beef dinner and said it was excellent. Family restaurant with a small gift shop. Great waitresses.

Upon checking in at our hotel, the staff directed us here for dinner. It was tasty authentic food and seeing the locals there was enough for me after being on too many tourist trap restaurants over the last few days. Would revisit if I was in town for sure!

Wait staff was too busy talking to others to be much help. Food was bland and reminded me of Mexican food day in high school. A trip to Taco Bell would be more enjoyable.
