Super fresh food, authentic cuisine, locals and friendly server

We stopped here to have lunch and we are very happy we did. We had the maestas burger and the club sandwich and both were cooked and presented very well. It was fresh and very tastefull. The restaurant is abundondly decorated with all kinds of...stuff from days long gone...we loved it !More

Best food

Coming from the Petrified Forest wanted Mexican food basically. Salsa was the best I have ever had. Not spicy. She said “today” red sauce was spicy I whose green for my cheese enchiladas. G had tamales with red sauce. He enjoyed them. Looked at other...diners food. They looked goodMore

Friendly Proprietor

Excellent Ma & Pa restaurant with scratch made local food. The interior decor consists of thousands of hanging antiques. I have eaten here for 30 years!

Decent Mexican food

We stopped in for dinner on a Thursday night, and there was one other couple in the restaurant. There are tons of junk on the walls and around the front room. The food was ok. The plates weren’t huge, but sufficient to fill us up....The best part was the sopapillas with honey that came with our meals. The service was good.More

Salsa was the best

We had dinner. Asked for hot salsa, and it was the best. The rest of the food we ordered was average. The decor was quirky and neat, probably typical Route 66 kitsch. Our server was the best.

Good Mexcian food

Very unique place. The wait staff was friendly and the Mexican food was delicious. Glad we stopped in for a late lunch. It's a small place and it has lots of memorabilia with a display of jewelry and other stuff for sale. Cool place to...visit.More

Sadly not worth the stop

Stopped by for a late lunch on way to Petrified Forest. Had the chimichanga and it was mediocre at best. Very disappointed with this stop. Service was fine.

Fun restaurant in beatiful downtown Holbrook

We went in late (after 8pm) on a Sunday night. Lots of history on the walls. The menu is a hoot. You can take the funny part home for 25 cents. The food was fine. If you want fancy, and bright, go to Denny's. Mr....Maestas is a nice stop off the interstate. Take it easy (Winslow is just down the road if you have to stand on the corner with Glenn) for awhile. Relax. Very enjoyable stop.More

Can’t recommend

The decor was fun and the service was friendly. The food was mediocre at best, took quite a while to come out and didn’t taste homemade. However the sopapias were homemade and delicious and an added bonus to the meal that was unexpected.
