Took the kids to dinner. They all enjoyed their dinner. The adults had an ok dinner as well. Nothing spectacular, but we would go back. It was late when we went, so it was very slow.

Great food and friendly service! Stop here for breakfast often and they are always busy. Would highly recommend for breakfast and lunch.

We arrived late in the evening and had to sit in the bar area. A little seedy. Older single, presumably, men hitting on the young beautiful bartenders. They seemed to be great bartenders and knew their stuff! As far as food goes, I don't recommend the salmon! I was so excited to try salmon in Alaska, but this tasted like... More

Stopped by for late breakfast with the locals. This one of the few non-fast food restaurants on the south side of Wasilla. Service was prompt and cheerful. It didn't take long to get the order, and the wait staff made sure we had any extras we, or she thought we could need. Prices were mid-range by lower 48 standards, but... More

Never a wait: good service but it is an old-school greasy eatery: nice portions could be bigger for the price but it is what it is. Stop by and check it out

We had a nice meal here but probably wouldn't go back. The food and service were average. The atmosphere is casual and the menu okay.

Had a good meal and the prices were reasonable. The staff were pleasant enough and the meal arrived in fairly quick order.

Up in Alaska for a month send just had my third visit for breakfast here. Scrambled eggs with diced ham and coffee was affordable and tasted good. Hash browns are good and service again was top notch. Not sure when I get to come back but always look forward to coming here for breakfast.

As I write this, the Trout Place and Windbreak Cafe is listed as #42 of 95 restaurants in Wasilla. Huh? How is that possible for such an excellent restaurant? This place is always dependable for good food and excellent service. Their breakfasts are especially good (you have to try the Philly Cheesesteak Omelet)! Good food, perfect coffee, excellent service all... More
