Our group of 5 couples throughly enjoyed our dinner in the Wine Room of The Grape Tap. This restaurant is located in a converted house; the wine room is in the basement. Jasmine was our waitress; she did an excellent job of steering us through the menu. Without question this was our best example of fine dining, by any definition,... More

Enjoyed the time my wife and I ate there and will go back again. On the mailing list for events. Lots going on monthly. Haven't had time to go up in a week day for the events but will try soon!

This is definitely the best restaurant in the Valley. The food is quite exceptional. It is expensive, but "you get what you pay for." My husband had a seafood pasta dish that was amazing, our daughter had the halibut special, and I had the chicken special. We all shared because everything was so good! We opted not to drink wine... Amazing dinner. I had the tenderloin in a wine sauce and mushrooms with mashed potatoes. Awesome. Hubby had the NY steak and that too was tasty. Both steaks cooked to perfection. The creme brûlée is a must. It has espresso in it.

One of the local bartenders in Denali recommended this place to me and said it was among the top 3 restaurants in Alaska in his opinion. I haven't eaten at enough Alaskan restaurants to confirm that but can tell you it was a great dining experience. Off the beaten path in small town Wasilla ~ I stopped here on my... More

I visited The Grape Tap with my parents and extended family for dinner. We were in a bit of a hurry because I was flying out of Alaska that night. The restaurant made note of our time constraints on the reservation and did an excellent job in keeping us on schedule. The food was excellent and the wine selection good.... More

Food and wine is excellent, but expensive. Try the bacon wrapped dates stuffed with chevre cheese. Might want to rsvp.

Neat restaurant in a cute refurbished house. The food was really good but we were in a group of 15 and many were almost done eating when my order came. Good thing some looks wanted dessert. Definitely give it a try!
