For me it’s a surprise why it’s such a popular place. The simple order with sunny side up eggs with hard yellow took them about 40 minutes and 3 attempts. Mushrooms were burnt. Blueberries in fruit mix were just frozen and it didn’t bother them...at all. Always will bring you something sweet before the main meal. And to be honest, healthy food and drinks can be soooo much more tasty. Even turmeric latte - how do you guys managed to make it bitter and honestly disgusting. We make it at home, you just take fresh turmeric and coconut milk and that’s all! It’s sweet and smooth without any sugar. Came here 3 or 4 times because of my elimination diet and every time something happens. UPD: I mentioned the same on another website and the reaction of manager was unbelievable: « we are sorry we could satisfy you ». Are you serious? Satisfy me? It’s a general rule of cooking and basics service for every cafe! I cannot imagine anyone being satisfied with burnt / frozen / undercook food and slow service. They also didn’t take any responsibility and said that probably « I scared them » so that’s why I got burnt, frozen and tasteless food. I swear that’s a quote. Me, 1,5m tall tiny girl scared them. By gently asking what I want and every time being nice?! Huh? The level of being not friendly and not client oriented is max. Finally I’m about to finish the diet and happy to never come back :)More

Motion Cafe is literally my most favorite place to eat, also they do delivery so that is a big bonus’’ I really enjoyed all their delicious food. The best in Bali.

Food is great. Healthy clean and huge portions. The only downside was having to wait for a table. Literally half of the dining tables had people sipping coffee and working on laptops. So rude and unfair to the restaurant/business. I think there needs to be...a policy on this as we almost didn’t bother to wait and went somewhere else...More

We stopped here for some delicious brunch and a strong coffee. The food here is excellent, the staff friendly, and there is a lot of focus on being sustainable.

The food here is really tasty with lots of vegan/keto/protein-rich options. A bit expensive for me but I guess the price matches the quality.. . The downside for me is how unwelcoming the staff feels... Hardly ever a smile or eye contact, makes me feel...like a bother and uncomfortable to come back.More

I have stayed in canggu for a while now and tried so many cafes here. There are a lot of nice places to eat, but I always come back to motion. Great food, amazing coffee, lovely staff, good service and a diverse menu with food...for everyone. Great options for vegans and people who have an interest in what they eat. The staff is great at explaining the dishes and show a lot of knowledge about the foods they serve, which can be rare here in Bali. Would definitely recommend anyone to go here ☀️😊More

Followed it on Ins and thoughts it a must-visit place. Actually similar to all other cafes in Canggu that serve protein pancakes, smoothies, avocado stuff, etc. Very small and cramped place. Very warm. We ordered, my sweet potato waffle came first (very heavy and hard...to eat in the heat). My bf ordered a hamburger and we waited for more than 45 mins, and it still hadn't arrive after asking for it multiple times. Its strange that the staff did not bother to think why i was the only one eating at the table and he was just sitting there. There was also no sense of urgency when I got upset by the 3rd time. They said they were busy but the kitchen have clearly forgotten the order, while the wait staff did not bother to ask. Not a memorable meal and I left remembering nothing about the food (smoothie and waffle was just ok), and more fuming about the long wait and nonchalance towards all of it.More

I ordered chicken Salad. It was delicious and healthy. They have many options on the menu. I would highly recommend Motion Cafe.

The best cappuccino in all of Bali. Great place for delicious food, wonderful cappuccino and a nice setting. We go there at least once a week when we are in Bali and everything is always perfect. Turkish breakfast, meat salad or vegetarian - everything is...delicious. First enjoy the eyes, then the tongue and other senses. It's often full and it's nice to know in advance when there are fewer people. We strongly recommend.More

Great, tasty, healthy breakfast. Service was great and fast considering how busy it was. They also cater to most diets, all round great place.
