I love this place! Its a cozy coffee shop with delicious sandwiches and daily specials that are always delicious. I had the special, Hungarian Mushroom soup with a side of corkscrew pasta salad and a huge jalapeno cheese roll. The soup melted in my mouth, it was the best ever while the pasta was as expected. The roll would have... More

The place is always hopping. Bypass the fast food places and stop here for quality food and many choices of quality baked goods or a breakfast burrito. Their soup and salad, is always a good option for lunch. You place your order in line, and the food is delivered promptly, either to your table or to go.

Vagabond Blues is a quaint coffee and restaurant shop. Their soup and pasta salads change daily. Call them to find out what they have available each day. Inside there is a chalkboard with their selection of sandwiches. Their coffee is also superb.

Went here for breakfast, it was busy, but not what we expected. Tons of coffee options, good selection of baked goods, very limited meal options. Our breakfast was good, but think "cafe" not restaurant. Pancakes/waffles/omelets are not an option. More like croissant, sandwiches, etc. Employees were nice and good atmosphere. Would come back for a snack, not a meal.

Ugh, we came here due to the high reviews, when I should have listened to the low ones (as usual). Stopped by on our way back to the Wrangells. it looks like a typical trendy sandwich place, so we hoped it meant the sandwiches would be as good as the reviews led us to believe. I got the BLTA and... More

I love Vagabond Blues, and I often try to share it with my guests whenever we go north from Anchorage. Yesterday, I took one guest from Italy, and he swears that the cappuccino here at Vagabond Blues are THE BEST he's ever had outside of Italy. Congratulations!

Stopped there on our way back from Fairbanks. Had three different panini sandwiches - chicken pesto, California and smoked turkey. All came with salad and were delicious. We were truly surprised to find these type sandwiches, breads and cookies in Palmer, AK!

I never thought of Vagabond Blues as a place to get a breakfast burrito, assuming they were more of a gluten free muffin and kale chip type establishment. I was wrong to assume. Their reindeer sausage breakfast burrito is absolutely amazing and I will be back for it many more times I'm sure.
