A friend and I had lunch there last week and I have to say I think the food has gotten better. I had been there many times but wasn't impressed. I think I'm changing my mind.

I enjoy coming here when I am in Juneau. I can't give it more than average though. The food is okay, nothing special. The view is good. But not great. I still go here but average is the correct rating.
It's great to have you back all these visits, Zaide. We'll work on food for your next visit, but it's a bit more complicated to improve the view :) Our menu is huge, I'm sure there's something you'd like!
Food and drink can get expensive but overall a good place. Idaho fries are wonderful and the steamed clams are flavorful and very shareable. Entrees can get pricey but are still tasteful and flavors are great. Would go again.
Thanks, Nicole! Certain entrees can be pricier. There is considerable food cost here in Juneau. We try and make it up it by offering generous portions and affordable sides.
We ordered the "fresh" halibut and chips at $24+ per person. The fish had an odd papery texture. The batter coating was listed as tempura but seemed more like a beer mix. The sun was out and the view of Douglas Island and cruise ship...More
