Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Expensive but so worth it! We stopped here during the land portion of our cruise and we were not disappointed. This evening they were serving Chef’s Choice 6 course meal. So many new and unusual options! I tried caviar for the first time! I have...severe dietary restrictions yet the chef and our server, Joli worked hard to be able to serve me every course. I truly felt seen and heard. We highly recommend this restaurant.More

Indeed a great place to be when you’re in Alyeska. The food is easy to order, their space is huge, the view is breathtaking! You can come here even you don’t go there to ski. Just eat and enjoy the view!

We had a delicious 4 course meal here. We were completely exhausted after a long day snow machining with a long drive home, and our server was wonderful even though I was a bit abrupt about hoping to get in and out quickly. He made...sure that we were out the door by the time we needed to be so we could get home safely. Everything was DELICIOUS. The steak tartar was one of the best I've ever had, and the scallop bisque was phenomenal. The pasta was a little too al dente, but still delicious. Both the fish and filet meals were phenomenal. My partner did not enjoy the chocolate dessert, too much toffee for him, but that berry tart was phenomenal. All in all, a great experience and a lovely place. A little pricey, but not bad for 4 courses WITH the lift ticket, and we had just gotten engaged so it was a nice celebration.More

I looked up things to do in Girdwood and this restaurant came up. That let me know I had to go experience the place. After looking it up on the internet, I saw that it's the ambiance you're going for there, and the calm looking...out over the mountain, night sky. When i arrived, it was just like I thought, which is why I scheduled for dinner, and not a lunch, to not be rushed, so I could eat and relax in peace, after a tough day on the body from winter activities. You get 1 hour and 30 minutes to eat there (yes it's timed), but that should be enough for you to eat. They have the food coming out in a timely way I had the Steak Tartare, Salmon Bisque, Beef Tenderloin and special dessert with a Smoke House Manhattan to wash that down. All of that was worth the money, the same thing would have been +$200 USD where I'm from, so if you're going to eat there, you should be prepared to spend over $125 a head to enjoy the full experience and full course meal. If that's not your thing, I get it, but I can tell you that anyone complaining about the place is going to complain about price- unless they're from a big city, like me, and expect such cost. It's part of the experience of going to the resort and I was happy to indulge.More

The views here are breath taking. No words can truly describe the wonder and beauty. Service here was great. The food... well lets just say you don't necessarily come for the food. It was alright but for the price and the view- you would except...better. So in conclusion you would come for this amazing dining experience with the beautiful nature all around you.More

The Tram staff at the bottom lied when they said Seven Glaciers would be open for lunch the day we were there. They lied in order to convince me to buy a $12 (each) upcharge on the Tram ticket for both me and my girlfriend...which in turn would give us each a $25 voucher for food. Turns out that when we returned to the bottom, able to use only one of our two $25 vouchers on the cheap and crappy cafeteria food (with terrible service), the tram staff refused to refund the other $12 upcharge that we couldn't use that they duped me in to buying. When i wrote a review on Trp Advisor about Alyeska as a whole, the management responded, "Thank you for your feedback, we only can apologize for your experience and will address your insights with the team. " That itself is bulls*t. They COULD refund the $12 up charged. I will NEVER go to Alyeska or any of its establishments ever again.More

Thus restaurant is extremely expensive. I found the attitude of the servers kind of unfriendly. With the exception of the scallop bisque the food was ok but not what you'd expect for the price. Our group of 6 people had a bill of more than...$1000 for the night! On the good side, the views are beautiful. It's the views from atop Alyeska that make the restaurant unique. I would not go back. The value if yhe experience is simply not there due to the food.More

This is an outstanding restaurant with the best view in all of Alaska. The food and service were superb. Expect dinner to take almost two hours, but this is as it should be in a high-end restaurant such as this, especially with such a view....It is expensive but is worth the price.More

The “Seven Glaciers” was one of the worse eating experience I’ve had. Having eaten in some of the best restaurants in the world I found this restaurant and mockery of a find restaurant. Except for “the scallop soup”, the rest of the food was terrible....But the worst thing was when we asked for the bill without touching our food, without complaining, or without saying a word, as to how to food was; the manager came to our table with a stern face and extremely bad attitude to ask “how are things around here?” We said fine, Still incisive she was assuming we were going to complain, she said emphatically, “So we want the bill, right?” “Of course,” I replied. She, without asking why we did not eat our food, or if we wanted another plate, or wanted our raw steak cooked a bit more, turned her back to us with her arrogant and aggressive attitude. She was not interested in knowing how she could make us feel better about the extremely overpriced tasteless uncooked meal we had been served. The experience was terrible I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. And the least that could be done if it’s not improving their food, at least management be retrained on client’s relations.More

Fun taking the tram to the restaurant and seeing the resort. Beautiful place. Nice views from the restaurant. Food and service excellent. With drinks, probably $200 pp. so be prepared. I think I would eat in bar next time. Better views and maybe not a...prix fixed menu.More
