Chez Guynette is a charming spot for a good B&B style breakfast. The atmosphere is extremely casual, and there is no menu (at least for breakfast), but the hostess is wonderful and served us a delicious omelette, baguette with homemade mango jam, and good strong coffee. Great for people watching, and cat watching, too.

The owner is on vacation and she has a friend taking care of Chez Guynette. I ate lunch there and had the veggie burger. Huge! I substituted a salad for the fries, The burger is made from beans that are not canned. My friends had the McGuynette. An enormous hamburger with fried egg and bacon. They said it was delicious.... We went here everyday for breakfast and one day for lunch. It was a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee, meet other travelers and just watch the world go by. We will miss Chez Guynette!

This outdoor cafe overlooking the main street of Faire and eventually the Pacific, was a great place for breakfast or lunch (we had both there). The breakfast omelettes are really very good as is the expresso. Like someone else noted, it is a good place to meet other travellers from all over the world, especially young ones!

Perfect location in the center of Fare,Huahine. Cafe has a nice view of the bay and internet for a small price. Rooms are shared or private with a communal kitchen. Good place to meet other travelers and share experiences or create new ones together. Walk to the Yacht club at Happy Hour for a sundowner and stay for dinner or... More

Friendly service, decent prices, excellent fries. Chez Guynette is right in the thick of things in Fare, so you can order up and then sit and watch life go by in surprisingly busy Fare.

We saw a sign for a special on the Blue Fin Tuna Steak at Chez Guynette. The price was to reasonable to pass up. More of tired than hungry, my husband and I decided to split it. After sitting down and ordering, we got a basket of bread and fresh bananas... delicious. Then the main course came.....It was amazing! The... More

Chez Guynette offers a very comfortable hostel in a great location if you want to be amongst the ‘hustle and bustle’. Fare is a sleepy village but seems to be about the busiest place on this picturesque Island. The café / restaurant is yummy and the hostel is clean and offers spacious double rooms with hot en suites at a... More
