Glad I found this restaurant. It’s very popular with local people and serves real Costa Rican food. I enjoyed the food but it’s not epicurean quality. Just experiment and try something new. The overall experience was definitely something I am glad I was able to...enjoy while visiting this beautiful country.More

Holy moly, it’s crazy!! We got there at 3:30 and didn’t sit until 4:30, but well worth the wait! The appetizers are huge, and the meals are ginormous (see pics below) The staff is friendly but be advised if you in a rush, this may...not be the place for you; it seems like a local hot spot but definitely recommend for a party of 4 or more, and two meals would be plenty!! **private parking and CC are accepted along with washing hands before entering the restaurant very COVID conscience.More

This place was recommended as a tipical Costa Rican food restaurant. The place was nice and I loved it being by a nice creek, but the food was not the best. A bit Dry, and bland.

I ordered the ceviche and it was terrible the fish was not fresh and tasted old. I also ordered a small bottle of vodka, what they do to serve the vodka not on the original bottle , but on a soda bottle so will have...no idea if they really giving you vodka. Long story short they gave me a local alcohol drink instead of vodka . I talked to the waitress and she said sorry I din't know, so I asked to bring a full bottle of vodka and a full bottle of their local alcohol. we opened both bottles and long before they got busted charging high price on vodka when actuality they were giving folks cheap alcohol . Then we ordered a Long Island they ended up serving us Rum and Coke, I had to tell the lady had to make a Long Island. Horrible experience won't comebackMore

Strongly recommended by a local friend living in San José, we tried this place asking for a lot of local specialties. A warm soup made of meat an vegetables, an amazing Rabo (pork tail in tomato sauce), patacones (fried platanl with a topping made of...chopped tomatoes and cilantro), a beef's tongue, and of course a few beers. All really tasty and we really enjoyed it. The patacones (according to our local friend) were a bit less crunchy than usual otherwise they would have be even more amazingMore

The food is OK, the service is fine, but the waiting time on busy days is crazy, so if you're hungry, and dont want to wait , this is not the best option. Prices are good, and the place is fine, dont expect a fancy...restaurant thoughMore

Low key open air and covered sections with a trampoline to keep the kids happy No vegetarian option on the menu but the kitchen put together an excellent plate from their well stocked kitchen. Fair prices for good sized portions just skip the smoothies they...are really frozen slushiesMore
