I can't rate the food but service and facilities are great. I have stayed in other "Small Distinctive Hotels" and have always excelled.

We enjoyed a late lunch at this restaurant, based on our transfer driver's recommendation. The ambience was luxurious, the service was excellent, and the food was also very good...though it was slightly overpriced for comparable quality/quantity.

This wonderful restaurant is in the Grano Oro Hotel. It is in an old Victorian home centrally located in San Jose...close to the central downtown area and close to the airport. The food and service were exceptional. My husband and I both had the fish...More

The main restaurant features a beautiful courtyard. Service is always excellent and the wine list is good. The only thing holding back the restaurant is the main dishes, some were simply underwhelming given the price. Stick to the waiter recommendations and you will enjoy.

I visit this restaurant after reading fantastic reviews! But I was really disappointed. The place is great, beautifully decorated but... the food was nothing special. No soul at all. And it's very expensive.

Excellent restaurant with excellent service. Very fancy, with fancy prices. It was a little stuffy for my taste. Quite formal. But I imagine good for business dinners, impressing the in-laws, etc.

The Grano de Oro hotel restaurant is located in the center of this very high quality hotel 9see my review). It has both an open space in the middle, and other tables inside. The restaurant has indeed its own character, beautifully decorated and excellent seating....More

Can I get a reservation for 2 for dinner at 6:00 PM May 24, 2017 for our anniversary? We will be staying at the hotel and will check in on May 24. And do men need to wear pants in the dinning room for dinner or can they wear dress shorts?…thanks, Gail and Milton Pacheco

Good morning! Please contact our reception directly to make your reservation. For our hotel guests we don't have an official dress code but recommend business casual as that is how most of the locals dress when they come to... More

I asked them about this when I had breakfast today. They have 2 lunch menus. The first starts at 11AM. Then at 2:30 they switch to a "mid afternoon" menu. They use that until 3 or 4 PM.
