We went based on recommendations from TA and the hotel. The appetizers were good...salmon rolls and vegetarian spring rolls. We wanted the won tons we had heard about but they were out. Our biggest complaint was the service. Others that come in after us were...More

I recommend the steamed wonton as a must entrée if you go to Tin Jo. The dishes are delicious but I have to give this one a standout place in the menu.

First the restaurant itself is impressive, check out the Garden room. Service was great, and the food was great, very tasty, but I wouldn't call it authentic. It's also a bit more expensive for a mid-priced restaurant in San Jose, two of us with a...More

The location is really nice, but it seems the food is heavily overrated. None of our dishes were good. It's like people say: if a restaurant offers a lot of dishes, they don't know how to do any of them properly. We've been to Thailand,...More

My girlfriend and I went here for ‘date night’ and what a fantastic little spot in San Jose. The service was absolutely spot on and of very high standard, and the food, well, the food... the food was thoroughly delicious! Every bite was filled with...More

What a gem! If hadn't seen this on Trip Advisor and heard about it from friends I would have walked right by it. Inside is such a surprise and a very cool family story. The old house has been decorated from room to room to...More

My wife and I arrived without a booking early on a Saturday night and the staff did their magic to find us a table. Our server Roma was keen to make sure we enjoyed our meal and helped me with my Spanish (until it ran...More

Tin Jo offers quality food, a calm appropriate atmosphere, excellent servers and hosts, and reasonable prices. No matter what dish I have ordered, I am also impressed with the quality and presentation and service. Our server--Roma--spoke both Spanish and English and met any need we...More

Description
Our mission is to serve delicious, healthy food in an environment that is conducive to sharing and caring. We believe that food should nourish us physically, emotionally and spiritually. Our dishes are inspired from Asian countries: China, Japan, India, Indonesia, Thailand. We have an extensive vegetarian and vegan menu as well as a gluten free menu. Our Asian themed rooms gather together all the art work we have collected as well as those created by closed friends and frequent diners. Tin Jo is our third child and we are very involved owners. We love to interact with you, our customers and it is our sincere wish that your visit to our restaurant satisfies not only your senses but also uplifts your spirit. With Gratitude,Maria Hon and Robert Faulstich
