The owner will offer something that is not in the menu and will charge a crazy amount for it. The food is not good and is very expensive.

Food was good really enjoyed the food. Owner was very friendly and told us all about the food etc. Our big mistake was not reading the menu. We told him we were vegetarian and he suggested a meal, which sounded delicious. Ate the whole meal had a couple of beers and a coffee. Left feeling satisfied and happy It wasn't... More

I'm sorry I didn't read the reviews before we went. The food was nice, mix starters and falafel wraps for main with beers came to €100 :O

Price was outrageous. almost 13,000 colones $26 for a small basic lunch sampler plate and a can of coke no ice. The food was ok the flatbread was hard and stale . The lamb meat pie thing was dry and hard. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Wandered the neighborhood looking for a place to eat. $148 for lunch for three! I pay those prices for excellent food, but once the appetizer sampler was done, the food was mediocre. It may have been his grandmother's recipe, but she evidently didn't convey all the information to correctly prepare the meal. My 18 year old grandson, not known for... More

What more can I say. Starters (his recommendation) nice but turned out to have been priced individually. Main courses rather dry, probably reheated. No-one else there.

Mixed feelings here... Like many other reviewers, the experience starts out as happy and interesting. We took his suggestions, got the appetizer sampler, ordered 2 entree's and a kids meal. The food was very good and well prepared, lamb was excellent. Then comes the bill, $42 for the small appetizer sampler, each kibi about 14 bucks all grand total $160!... More

Costa Rica doesn't really have a national cuisine except for casado which is plain white rice, plain black beans, fried plantains and overcooked fish, meat or chicken. It is completely devoid of flavor, but you should try it once just for the experience. Look, good restaurants in Costa Rica are all very expensive. Furthermore, good food is very hard to get... More

We were guided in by the guy outside after we were asking about another restaurant. It was Saturday night and the place was empty (we should have left then). The owner said he had a great selection of small appetizers - some tiny plates of hummus $42!!!! I had the lamb as the owner kept going on about how great... More
